Camp Sequassen, home of the hermit, is located on 540 acres of prime wooded forest near the quaint New England town of New Hartford, Connecticut. Camp Sequassen is a Scout adventure land. As home to diverse summer camp favorites such as aquatics, Scoutcraft, shooting sports, ecology, as well as rigorous older Scout programs such as mountain biking, black powder rifle shooting, and trail to Eagle camp. Sequassen is the ideal place to experience all the excitement that Scouting has to offer. The flagship camp of the Connecticut Yankee Council, and considered by many to be one of the premium Scout camps in the Eastern United States. Sequassen has a reputation of delivering superior program accredited by the Boy Scouts of America.

Medical Forms
The 2021 Resident Camp Health Form (including physical exam by your doctor) are required for all scouts (and adults) attending summer camp. Please make certain that doctor's signature is "hand signed" and not stamped as stamped health forms will not be accepted.Youth campers also need a completed Connecticut Yankee Council Addendum.

- Discover Adventure: $50 extra/Scout
- Aquatic Programs: SCUBA: $275 additional/Scout

Arrival/Departure - Camp Sequassen
Please arrive at designated meeting location by 11:30am on Sunday, August 8th. We will be departing for camp by 12 noon - sharp! Campers should have already eaten lunch or have a bag lunch packed. Departure from camp will be around 11:00 am on Saturday, August 14th. If you will be picking up Scouts on Saturday, August 14th please arrive at Camp Sequassen by 9:00am to help adult leaders and allow them to leave camp by 11am.
Trading Post at Camp Sequassen
Everyone enjoys going to the trading post while at camp. The average camper spends approximately $50 per week while at camp for merit badge books, project kits and other essentials such as a T-shirt, hat, ice cream, candy and beverages.
